Amore Pacific's holistic beauty brand is known for their traditional approach to beauty, based on natural ingredients. Sulwhasoo products have distinctive ginseng smell, which I know will put off many people. I don't mind it though. I quite like it.
One of my favorite product is Sulwhasoo Snowise Ex White Ginseng Exfoliating Gel which is basically like a scrub but coated in a gel. A part of Snowise Ex line aimed at whitening and brightening, it will gently reduce dead skin cells, making skin smooth and radiant. The tiny beads and gel consistency helps makes the scrub less harsh. It is a real pleasure to massage this all over my face.
The Gel works best when applied to a dry skin, just take a dollop of it on your hands and gently massage it into your skin. The gel is gentle and I think can be used as a massage gel too. I would normally massage it for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Skin is clean and smooth. And most importantly, not dry at all. There is no rush for a moisturizer afterwards.
As for the whitening and brightening properties, I would not say they are that noticeable. But I think that if you use this regularly, it will help exfoliate all the dead skin cells and thus making your skin brighter. To be honest, the gel is basically like a scrub, but more gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. I normally hate scrubs, but I love this one.
